Laura GEORGESCU este conferenţiar universitar doctor la Facultatea de Drept a Universității Ecologice din București din 2010 şi avocat în Baroul Bucureşti din 2005.

Este membru de onoare al Uniunii Experților în Legislația Muncii (din 2013) şi membru al Asociației pentru Studiul Relațiilor de Muncă (din 2016). Activitatea juridică, de cercetare știinţifică și publicistică a fost și este orientată, cu precădere, asupra dreptului muncii și dreptului social.

Pe lângă activitatea publicistică în calitate de autor şi coautor al unor importante lucrări de dreptul muncii şi studii de specialitate, Doamna Georgescu este invitat și lector-formator la numeroase conferințe naționale și internaționale. Este formator la cursuri și seminarii/workshopuri de specialitate (din 2007 până în prezent) – Inspector resurse umane, Manager resurse umane, Expert legislația muncii etc.

Este Redactor-şef al Revistei Române de Dreptul Muncii.
